The curriculum of MLZSC takes on a student-centred approach, whereby children are involved in the learning process. Teachers ignite the curiosity and the desire to learn rather than routinely push ideas; a methodology that turns to learn into a combination of classroom study, research and scientific innovation.
Language is taught the way it should be. First, the sounds of the vowels followed by the consonants are introduced to make the children familiarized with English speaking sounds. The numbers are also introduced using the decimal system and the children will be introduced to all the four mathematical operations by the time he/she finishes his/her third grade.
At MLZSC, every subject is taught the way it is best understood. For example, the language learning begins with an understanding of phonetic sounds, rather than by rote. Science is taught by doing and learning. Art forms are encouraged, as are sports and co-curricular activities. We inculcate a balanced development in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
We nurture the students with a fine blend of both academic expertise and real-life problem-solving abilities. Students are raised to attain a higher level of awareness, understanding and affinity with all living beings.
The teachers of MLZSC are deeply committed to the physical, emotional, academic and spiritual welfare of the students. Each child is attended to with diligence.
It is the endeavour of the Management to employ facilitators who are given continuous training to impart learner-friendly methods. We believe students learn best when they learn through Experiential, Experimental and Learning-by-Doing methods in a non-coercive environment. Every effort is made to free students from rote-methods and shortcuts. Field visits, Excursions, Project work and methods that enhance the holistic development of students constitute the bedrock on which MLZSC Education System (MLZSC) is founded.
